The Surface temperature sensors are for temperature registration at pipeline and with all cylindrical shapes. It is a common sensor at gaps of Band Heaters. Gap slot minimum size = 6 mm. The temperature recording is at the bottom of the contact plate. R 30 is the standard bending radius of the contact plate. The passage of the sensor tube to the compensating wire is strain relieved and with a Ø 8 x 65 mm anti-kink protection spring as mechanical protection.
